Remember this is your Pacific holiday, so you can do as little or as much as you like and very quickly you will adjust to Pacific Tongan time which is totally stress free.

The Tongan Beach Resort is at the crossroads of Vava’u life.  Every water based tour operator passes our doorstep (well wharf really), from the whale watch boats, the dive boats, snorkelling and island tours and big game fishing.

If something by land takes your fancy, then you are only a short taxi ride to town, and for some more active souls you can either walk or jog – so that the culinary treats become guilt free!

The focal point for conversation at our resort is the Sand Bar where you can feel the cool talcum powder sand through your toes – no shoes please!

"We've just arrived home in OZ from a week at the Tongan Beach Resort and we want to get on a plane and fly back. Vava'u is the northern group of islands in Tonga. If flying, you'll arrive in the Tongan capital Nuku'alofa then take a domestic flight to Vava'u. We made this trip to swim with the Humpback whales for my 40th birthday and luckily booked the Tongan Beach Resort to stay at. The resort has its own private beach with good entry level snorkelling. It has its own jetty too, which is great because any boat trip or tour you book will pick you up right there at the resort.

The Staff there are fantastic, Happy and genuinely Friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean as was the whole resort..."
