Accommodation here at The Tongan Beach Resort
The resort has 12 modern sun dappled rooms, all rooms are only meters from the waters edge and have inspiring views of the golden sand beach and the amazingly turquoise waters beyond.
Six rooms are designated “Beach front Double” rooms and are located at the Eastern end of the resort. These rooms feature Super King beds which can split into two singles if so required. The other six, slightly larger “Beach Front Family” rooms are located at the opposite end of the resort property and are available in bed configurations to suit up to four guests in a combination of Super King beds, Queen Beds and singles, or all singles. Beach Front Family rooms are inter-connecting in blocks of up to three rooms.
All twelve rooms have modern private ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold showers. There are ceiling fans, fridges, iron and ironing boards, hair driers and tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms. Every room has an outside deck area over looking the beach.
Air Conditioning - As part of our ongoing commitment to our guest comfort and care, we have recently installed Air Conditioning to some of our rooms, please enquire about the air conditioned option at time of booking. A small daily fee is charged for an upgrade to an Air Conditioned room, this can be paid directly at the resort.
Non Smoking - All rooms are designated as non-smoking but you may smoke on your deck area and shell ashtrays are provided.
It is our mission to provide genuine island lifestyle during the day with the creature comforts of home at night. The individually designed rooms have each been designed around a sea theme with sea motifs defining each room.
Internet Access - The Resort has WiFi hotspot, and vouchers can be purchased from the resort reception. You can roam around the vavaunet hotspot locations in Vava'u no matter where you've purchased your voucher from.
Check in / Check Out times - 'Check In' is 12.00 noon and 'Check Out' is 11.00am. But if you are not due to depart until the afternoon for your flight, check with us whether or not your room is required for incoming guests. If your room is not needed you are welcome to enjoy it until your departure time at no extra charge.
If your room is needed, then you are welcome to remain at The Tongan Beach Resort for the day and enjoy the facilities, we provide safe storage for your luggage in the office.
Drinking Water - The water in your rooms is a combination of both rain water and bore water from Neiafu, so for health reasons we advise that you purchase bottled water for drinking from the Sand Bar.
House Keeping - Rooms are serviced daily. Feel free to ask for extra towels, pillows, drinking glasses, milk etc..We also have hurricane lanterns available from the office to if you would like lighting assistance when returning to your room in the evening.
Beach Towels – Are available from reception for guests use.
